  • If you are interested in arriving a day early we recommend calling the hotel directly to request the room rate be applied the day early for your stay.

Animatic Con

Animatic is taking place in Cincinnati, Ohio on the weekend of March 16th – March 18th  of 2018. This will be our 3rd year!

Our 2018 convention will be held at Quality Hotel (previously Crown Plaza Blue Ash) located at 5901 Pfeiffer road, Blue Ash, Ohio 45242. (Please call the hotel to book your room as their website is undergoing the brand change: 513-793-4500)

Our Mission

AnimaticConMascotTo create a convention that welcomes those with disabilities and also helps in removing any limitations one would face while attending an animation and cosplay convention.

Concept

Animatic: according to Merriam- Webster
  Noun
a preliminary sequence of shots, images, or sketches (as for a movie or an animated television program) that is filmed or arranged usually with a soundtrack and viewed to determine its effectiveness before being finalized

Animatic Con started in March of 2015 with the idea of delivering to the fandoms across the U.S. a convention that was fun, and had a higher purpose. After much consideration and discussion, we decided that we wanted to help raise funds for Autism, and with that we wanted to create a convention that welcomed people with limitations, and accommodate to their needs. Animatic Con has been raising funds since 2016 and donating to Families with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). With Families with ASD, we have ensured that funds raised go into the community to help provide the resources that they need.

Families with ASD is a Cincinnati based charity that is a 501c3 organization. They are responsible for putting on the Autism Expo which is held in Sharonville, Ohio each year. You can learn more about Families with ASD by visiting their website familieswithasd.org
